Not Your Average Coffee Shop

The Client | Urban Coffee Nook

The Urban Coffee Nook was an idea brought to our company by an Atlanta native that loved Atlanta’s inner-city culture, coffee, and music. She wanted to create a contemporary oasis that would appeal to an audience that appreciates poetry, live music, and unique coffee blends as much as she did.

Project Scope

The Problem | Investment

Our client had no logo, brand archetype, or identity when we received this project. In addition, our client had a hard time discovering the perfect location for her coffee shop. The Atlanta real-estate market is skyrocketing, especially in the areas she believed would attract her target audience. She needed our help developing the brand perception, understanding her competitors, and gaining the financial assistance to fund her vision.

The Solution | A Brand With A Plan

The goal for this project was first to understand the market. How much is a coffee shop worth today, considering the current climate of America? We had to understand our client’s business’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. We then conducted a competitor analysis, and most importantly, a location analysis to find the perfect location to open our client’s coffee shop.

Our analysis provided our client with a list of locations, financial options, and a market strategy that would set her coffee shop apart from the rest. We were also able to develop a brand archetype and identity that visually spoke to her target audience and would give potential investors a look into the movement we are about to create. The pitch deck developed on behalf of our client, including profit projections, proposed market strategy, and more, was sent to over 25 investors in the Atlanta area. 4 investors were interested, and our client will open her coffee shop in the 1st quarter of 2023.
